We have proposed a simple Microcomputer Based Laboratory (MBL) experiment to collect real-time data during the eruption of the Geyser model. The experimental setup consisted of one pressure sensor, two temperature sensors, and a laptop with the Vernier interface. The MBL experiment of the Geyser model was useful to examine the properties of the eruption period of Geyser. The period was proportional to the height of Geyser tube, the size of cavity but inversely proportional to the heat rate. Also the experiment would be useful to the Earth Science class and the open-inquiry activity for the gifted students.
