After a literary commentary of Quevedo’s romance Jocosa defensa de Neron y del senor rey don Pedro de Castilla, (num. 718), and a brief excursus on other quevedian works in which the same characters appear, the last two paragraphs concern the literary subgenre of the encomium tyranni (very little studied) and possible relationships that Jocosa defensa has with the Encomium Neronis of Girolamo Cardano.
