Two heterobranch species, Stylocheilus striatus (Quoy &amp; Gaimard, 1825) (Anaspidea, Aplysiidae) and  Pleurobranchus forskalii  Rüppel &amp; Leuckart, 1828 (Nudipleura, Pleurobranchidae) are reported for the first time for Bazaruto Island, Mozambique. Swarming behavior of  Stylocheilus striatus , which was previously described for other localities, was also observed for the first time in the Bazaruto Archipelago. The sea slugs were photographed in situ and identified in sync with their species descriptions, photographic databases and the current literature.
