Munkánk során a hazai önkéntes társulások tagságának jellemzőit vizsgáltuk a Hungarostudy Egészség Panel (HEP) országos reprezentatív longitudinális vizsgálat keretében. A felmérések időpontjában (2002, 2006) a civil szervezetek tagsága 11–13% között mozgott — ez megfelel más hazai vizsgálatok eredményeinek. Kutatásunkban nyomon követtük, hogy milyen változások történtek a résztvevők tagsági viszonyában, és hogy ezek a változások miként írhatók le az egyes csoportok (kilépők, belépők) demográfiai, szociokulturális és gazdasági, valamint az egészségi állapot bizonyos mutatói mentén. Vizsgáltuk továbbá, hogy milyen magatartás- és személyiségjellemzőkkel írhatók le az egyes típusok. A Cloninger-féle személyiségdimenziók közül az önirányítottságot és az újdonságkeresést, a Folkman–Lazarus-féle coping kérdőív alapján pedig az emocionális és a problémamegoldó coping potenciált, valamint az egyéni aspirációkat vizsgáltuk. A Hungarostudy Egészség Panel (HEP) adatbázis elemzésének eredményei arra utalnak, hogy az önkéntes társulások tagjait és valaha volt tagjait inkább jellemzik egészségvédő faktorok: alacsonyabb az anómia foka, jellemzőbb a problémacentrikus megküzdési mód, a reflektivitásra való képesség, a kreativitás magasabb foka, és az önirányítottság.			 | 				Based on the follow-up survey Hungarian Epidemiological Panel (HEP) the present study describes the general characteristics of the members of voluntary associations. In the years of data gathering (2002 respective 2006) the percent of participation in voluntary associations decreased from 13 to 11 percent. In this article we analyse changes regarding membership: new memberships and exits and if this changes can be described in demographical, socio-cultural, economic and health condition dimensions. For showing the behavioural and personality characteristics of members we used the Cloninger’s Temperament and Character Index (TCI), Folkman and Lazarus’s Ways of Coping (WCQ) test, and the Aspiration Index (Kasser and Ryan). The results show that members in 2006, and those who in the period between the two data gathering left the voluntary association are characterized with a lower anomie degree, with higher problem oriented cooping strategy, ability for reflection, and higher creativity and self-directedness rates
