The study of two-particle azimuthal correlations at high transverse momentumhas become an important tool to investigate the interaction of hard partonswith the medium formed in high-energy nucleus-nucleus collisions. At SPSenergies, pioneering studies by the CERES collaboration indicated a significantmodification of the away-side structure in central collisions.
