espanolEl objetivo de este articulo es analizar, desde una perspectiva feminista, la Politica Publica de Igualdad y Equidad de Genero del Poder Judicial de Costa Rica, aprobada en noviembre del ano 2005. El principal referente teorico es el paradigma de justicia de genero, por lo tanto, de su aplicacion se concluye que a pesar de los esfuerzos, persiste discriminacion hacia las mujeres, tanto en el funcionamiento interno de la institucion como a nivel de tutela de derechos y acceso a un “juicio justo”, por lo cual es preciso formular una nueva politica que responda a los desafios actuales. EnglishThis article aims to analyze from a feminist perspective the Gender Equality and EquityPublic Policy of the Judiciary Main Branch of Costa Rica approved in November 2005. Themain theoretical reference is the paradigm of gender justice, therefore, its applicationconcludes that, despite the efforts, discrimination against women persist, both in theinternal functioning of the institution as well as at the level of protection of rights andaccess to a “fair trial”. Hence, it is necessary to formulate a new policy that responds tocurrent challenges.

JUSTICIA DE GÉNERO EN EL PODER JUDICIAL DE COSTA RICA: UN ANÁLISIS DE POLÍTICA PÚBLICA
