Stenting of ductus arteriosus, including moderately tortuous ducts, for pulmonary blood supply in newborns with cyanotic congenital heart disease is a low risk and safe alternative to the surgical aorta-to-pulmonary artery shunt in dual-source lung perfusion. Incomplete stenting of the duct results in ductal stenosis, compromised pulmonary flow and reintervention requirement. Therefore stenting of tortuous ducts should be done completely. We report a newborn who have congenital heart disease with duct-dependent pulmonary circulation and hypoplastic peripheral pulmonary arteries, was successfully palliated with ductal multiple stent implantation.
