This paper shows the relation between Freinetian’s postulates and the use of innovative strategies such as life history and discussion groups in the studies of Teacher’s Grade. Freinet’s ideas are evident in the use of these methodologies and show us the need to keep them in mind for the training of preservice teachers. The methodological change must start from university education to enable itself a more consistent such as an alternative to a traditional teacher education model that enables change and further improvement the same teacher figure.
