The paper presents new data on the systematics and the distribution of species of the genus Camellocossus Yakovlev, 2011 (Lepidoptera: Cossidae). Eight new species are described. The descriptions of all the new species (the adults and male genitalia) are illustrated. A distribution map of the species of Camellocossus is given. It is established that the genus Camellocossus is common component of East Africa, and the deserts of North Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. РЕЗЮМЕ. Представлены новые сведения по систематике и распространению видов рода Camellocossus Yakovlev, 2011 (Lepidoptera: Cossidae). Описано восемь новых видов. Описания всех новых видов проиллюстрированы (габиту, гениталии самцов). Приведена карта распространения рода Camellocossus. Установлено, что Camellocossus — общий компонент фауны Восточной Африки, пустынь Северной Африки и Аравийского полуострова.
