We found the Far Eastern species Nordodiaptomus siberiensis (Wilson, 1951) in the European part of the Palearctic (the Sura River floodplain, Middle Volga region). A brief diagnosis and illustrations of the species are provided and we discuss some differences between the European and the Far Eastern populations.
