The cetineite structure-type has the very general formula  A  6 [ B  12 O 18 ][ CX  3 ] 2 [ D   x   Y  6− y  ] with 0 ≤  x  ≤ 2 and 0 ≤  y  ≤ 6. In a preceding paper [Eur. J. Solid State Inorg. Chem.  35  (1998) 27–37] natural and synthetic cetineite-type phases with  A  = Na + , K + , Rb + , Sr 2+ , Ba 2+ ;  B  =  C  = Sb;  X  = S 2− , Se 2− ;  D  = Na + , Sb 3+ , C 4+ ; and  Y  = H 2 O, OH − , O −2  have been described. In the present paper, the results of crystal structure determinations from single-crystal X-ray diffraction data of four of these phases are reported.
