The title compound, C 11 H 19 BF 4 N 2 , crystallises with two formula units in the asymmetric unit of a triclinic lattice, space group  P [unk]  a  = 981.7(3) pm,  b  = 1201.1(4) pm,  c  = 1239.0(4) pm,  α  = 97.12(2)°,  β  = 107.01(2)°,  γ  = 90.32(2)°,  Z  = 4. The cations display all- trans  configurations and a bowed shape. The aggregate structure consists of “tubes” with channels parallel to the  y  axis.
