Te(OH)0 · K,P,024 · 2 H20 is the first example of an adduct between Lclluric acid and a cyclooclaphosphate. We repon its chemica! preparation and its atomic arrangement. The title compound is triclinic Pr, 7  1 with the following unit cell dimensions: a 11.315(9), b 10.67(1), c 7.547(3) A  = 108.72(5), {J = 100.30(2), )' = 66.80(5t Crystal structure was determined and refined to !ina! R  0.028 for 7265 im.kpem.kn t reflc:<;(ion. Th alomiurrangement is mainly characterized by the coexistence of independent units of [P8024]8ring anions and of Te(OH)6 groups, both centrosymmetric. · The hydrogen bond scheme is described. In addition, the internal sym­ metries and the geometries of the rare [P8024)6ring anions presently investigated are discussed.
