The crystal of bis[2-phenylazo)pyridine] Copper(I) Perchlorate, monohydrate are triclinic, with space group  P 1 and cell parameters  a  = 10.713(2) Å,  b  = 12.016(2) Å,  c  = 9.829(2) Å,  α  = 103.32(2),  β  = 91.57(2),  γ  = 97.96(2)°,  Z  = 2. The molecular weight,  M r   = 546.43,  F (000) = 558, and  μ  = 1.052 mm −1 . The crystal was solved by Patterson synthesis and successive Fourier syntheses. The full matrix, least squares refinement led to a final  R  value of 0.105 for 2962 reflections.
