The crystal structure of a new sulphosalt, jaskolskiite, Cu  x   Pb 2+ x   (Sb, Bi) 2− x   S 5  ( x  ≈ 0.2), has been determined. The space group is  Pbnm , with  a  = 11.312(2),  b  = 19.829(3),  c  = 4.088(1) Å,  Z  = 4 for the composition Cu 0.19  Pb 2.22  Sb 1.17  Bi 0.62  S 5 . The structure has been solved using its homologous relationship to meneghinite and refined from three-dimensional diffractometer data to an  R -value of 0.072 for 472 observed reflections.
