The crystal structure of a new copper zine arsenosulfosalt, Cu 6 Zn 3 As 4 S 12  has been determined. Tho crystal is rhombohedral, having tho unit-cell dimensions  a  rh  = 8.34 Å,  α  rh  = 107°20′,  a  hex  = 13.44 Å,  c  hex  = 9.17 Å, and the symmetry  C  3  4 – R 3. The structure was solved by interpretation of a three-dimensional Patterson function synthetized with super-lattice reflections only. It was not possible to distinguish between Zn and Cu atoms.
