Prof. Dr. Eberhard Kienzle wurde 1969 an der Universität Erlangen-Nümberg zum Dr.-Ing. promoviert. Er arbeitete anschließend als Entwicklungsingenieur in der Industrie auf den Gebieten Flugund Fahrzeugführung sowie Transportund Lagertechnik. Seit 1973 ist er Professor an der FH Esslingen, Hochschule für Technik; seine Lehrund Forschungsgebiete sind Echtzeitsysteme, Neuronale Netze, Bildverarbeitung und Rechnertechnik.
