Andrea M i s c h , Ingmar Pe ter, Marcus Rieks , Jürgen W a h l m a n n dieser nichtdeterministischen Algorithmen auftretenden Fehler zu vermindern. Das System MoCaRT++ wurde als Basissystem für MonteCarlo-Raytracing entwickelt. Es ist durch seinen objektorientierten Entwurf in allen Teilen erweiterbar, so daß neue Forschungsergebnisse einfach integriert werden können. Nach einer kurzen Einführung in Monte-Carlo-Verfahren und Bildsynthese werden die einzelnen Bestandteile von MoCaRT++ und ihre Beziehungen untereinander vorgestellt.
