The paper proposes a new solution of actual scientific and applied problem of optimization of the renewable energy sources in the local electrical systems, which is to determine the optimum installed capacity of RES and the choice of optimal schemes connection and also the automation of optimal control of their work in the electrical system. The application of these developments will allow reducing the power losses on electrical energy transmission and improving its quality. Streszczenie. Artykuł proponuje nowe rozwiązanie aktualnego naukowego i praktycznego problemu optymalizacji odnawialnych źródeł energii (OZE) w lokalnych systemach energetycznych, który determinuje optymalnie zainstalowaną ilość OZE i wybór optymalnego schematu połączeń, a także automatyczne optymalne sterowanie ich pracą w systemie energetycznym. Zastosowanie tego rozwiązania pozwoli zredukować straty mocy przesyłu energii elektrycznej i podwyższy jej jakość.
