A series of 1-amino-2-cyclohexene-3-ols is subjected to an enzymatic transesterification by the system lipase on silica/tributyrin (Klibanov-method). Thereby, an optical resolution of 1r-benzoyl-amido-5t,6c-dimethoxy-1-cyclohexene-4c-ol is achieved. Advantages and disadvantages of this method are discussed.
