The analogue of hippuric acid, ruthenocenoyl-glycine was synthesized and labelled with the γ-emitter  103 Ru. As a by-product of the synthesis the labelled diamide from ruthenocene- dicarbonic acid and glycine was gained. With these ruthenocene derivatives the organ distribu­tions in mice and rats were measured.
