The three lichen species Anaptychia fusca, Peltigera canina, and Omphalodiscus spodochrous have been studied with regard to their chemical content. Atranorin, gyrophoric acid, tenuiorin, allantoin, taurine, linoleic acid, a new sterol-C 31 H 52 O 2  , and waxes have been determined.
