Fluorination of CF 3 SeCl with AgF leadsto CF 3 Se(O)OH and CF 3 SeSeCF 3  after reactions of the primary products with glass.Condensations of (CF 3 S) 2 NH and [(CH 3 ) 3 Si] 2 NH with CF 3 SeCl gave CF 3 SeN(SCF 3 ) 2 , and [(CH 3 ) 3 Si] 2 NSeCF 3 , (CF 3 Se) 2 NSi(CH 3 ) 3 , CF 3 SeN(H)Si(CH 3 ) 3 , respectively. The reaction of FC(O)SCl with Hg(SeCF 3 ) 2  gave besides FC(O)SSeCF 3  in smaller quantities also CF 3 SeSSeCF 3 . When a mixture of (CF 3 Se) 2 NH and Cl 3 S 3 N 3  is heated to 50°C, CF 3 SeN=S=NSeCF 3  is formed. The oxydation of CF 3 SeCF 2 X with ClF or m-chloroperbenzoic-acid gave CF 3 Se(O)CF 2 X (X = F, Cl). Spectroscopical data of the substances are provided.
