(Ph 3 P) 2 Pd(N 3 ) 2  reacts with CS 2  by 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition to give the thiatriazoline- 5-thionato complex (Ph 3 P) 2 Pd(N 3 CS 2 ) 2 . From the reaction of [Ph 4 As] 2 [Co(N 3 ) 4 ] with CS 2 , the isotliiocyanato complex [Ph 4 As] 2 [Co(NCS) 4 ] has been isolated, and the intermediate thiatriazoline-5-thionato complex [Ph 4 As] 2 [Co(N 3 CS 2 ) 4 ] could be detected by its electronic spectrum.
