Osmiumtetroxide and antimony pentachloride form a donor acceptor complex, OsO 4  · 2 SbCl 5 . According to the IR spectrum the complex contains OsOSb bridges. With VCl 4 , TiCl 4 , MOCl 5  and osmiumtetroxide rapid ligand exchange reactions occur, forming VOCl 3 , TiOCl 2  and several oxochlorides of molybdenum and OsCl 4 , respectively.
