Monomeric Bis(dimethylgallium)N,Nʹdimethyldithiooxamide has been prepared by the reaction of Ga(CH 3 ) 3  and [HN(CH 3 )C(=S)-] 2  in a 2:1 molar ratio. Two configurational isomers are formed and according to the  1 H NMR and vibrational spectra both forms of these molecule consist of two fused five-membered rings, with an almost planar structure. The preliminary results of the X-ray structure determination are given.
