Raman spectra of alcoholic lithium Perchlorate solutions (alcohol = methanol and ethanol) were measured as a function of LiClO 4  concentration. The Raman band due to nearly free hydrogen bonds shows peculiar concentration dependences: (1) its frequency shifts with LiClO 4  concentration in contrast to alcoholic LiX solutions (X = CI and Br), in which the Raman band due to solvated halide ions shows little frequency change with LiX concentration, and (2) the half band width shows anomalous changes with LiX concentration.
