A computer-controlled microwave-Stark-spectrometer is described. By setting the frequency step by step with following data correction it is possible to use the method of time averaging. It results a high sensitivity. Microwave lines with an absorption coefficient 3.3 · 10 -10  and 1.4 · 10 -10  cm -1  have been detected and their frequencies measured with high accuracy.
