Diffusion processes were investigated by means of quantitative electron-probe microanalysis in the systems Mo-Al, Nb-Al and Mo-Nb. With the system Mo -Nb the annealing temperature amounted to 980 °C and a smooth run of concentration versus distance was obtained. The diffusion coefficient was dependent on concentration and amounted to 0.7-3.0·10 -14  cm 2  sec -1 .
