Environmental pollution is an urgent ecology problem. In this paper we propose a method solving a problem of minimization of pollution concentration caused by fires in the region. This method was tested on the data related to summer 2010 in the Moscow region. Due to the local character of pollution sources, this problem is incorrect and hence we have used Tikhonov’s regularizations. The principle of solution was based on the dual representation of the square residual functional and this representation was used for the study and construction of solution algorithms.
