Due to demographic changes, effective preventive measures on local level should be developed. This paper presents a project for elderly people which aims at the promotion (1) of the identification with their housing area and (2) of their physical activity and (3) of the participation in local strategies for active ageing. The result of the project is a booklet which was done by participating inhabitants.
