International audienceAlthough many studies take into account the variable « weight» of wild primates, it appears from the literature that few body weight data have been collected for Cercopithecidae. This study provides body weight data for 871 Cercopithecidae weighted on game markets in the Kisangani (Zaire) and N'Gotto (Central African Republic) regions in the Zaire/Congo Basin. For the best represented species, the results allow to identify a « standard » mean weight for a given population and, among well represented polytypic species, a first comparison at subspecies level.Bien que de nombreux travaux prennent en considération la variable "poids" de primates sauvages, l'examen de la littérature fait ressortir qu'il existe peu de données pondérales de Cercopithecidae. Cette étude apporte les données pondérales de 871 Cercopithecidae pesés sur les marchés de viande de chasse des regions de Kisangani (Zaïre) et de N'Gotto (République Centrafricaine) dans le Systeme fluvial Zaïre/Congo. Pour les espèces les mieux representées, les résultats autorisent la reconnaissance d'un "standard" de poids moyen au niveau population et parmi les espèces polytypiques bien representées, une première comparaison au niveau sous-spécifique
