A female patient with known chromosomes 18p- and 14p- presented with severe growth failure at age 2–9/12 years. Growth hormone (GH), at 0.3 mg/kg/week, was initiated at age 6–3/12 years. Her linear growth improved dramatically over the subsequent 7 years. We present details of her course and review the medical literature on the use of GH in patients with 18p-syndrome.
