In this paper, TiO 2  supported on SiO 2  (SBA-15) materials were developed. TiO 2  content in photocatalysts was studied at different concentrations (0, 10, 20, and 40% mass). Sol-gel technique was employed for supporting TiO 2  on mesoporous materials (SBA-15) in the laboratory. The synthesized photocatalysts were characterized by FTIR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and BET area. The decoloration of textile dye Reactive Blue 69 in aqueous solutions (30 mg/L) was carried out using TiO 2 /SiO 2  (SBA-15) photocatalysts (0, 10, 20, and 40 %mass), in presence of H 2 O 2  (2 mL/L, 30% mass aqueous solution), and under UV-A irradiation conditions, at an initial pH of 3.0 (by addition of HNO 3  1N). According to the results, 99% of color removal was achieved with all the photocatalysts tested. When the amount of titanium dioxide increases, the time required for decoloration is reduced. With the 40% mass photocatalyst the lowest time of decoloration of the system was obtained (180 min). The decoloration process followed a zero-order apparent kinetics.
