Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit war die Evaluation des Knocheneinwachsverhalten einer neuartigen vakuum-plasmagespritzten Titanoberfläche (VPS-Ti) im Vergleich zu cancellous-structured Titan (cs-Ti). VPS-Ti mit einer Porosität von 50-55% und einer Porengröße von 200 μm sowie cs-Ti mit einer ähnlichen Porosität von 55 % aber unterschiedlichen Porengröße von 500 μm wurden in 15 Göttinger minipigs metaphysär proximal implantiert. Nach 4, 8 und 12 Wochen wurden die Tiere eingeschläfert und die Femura explantiert. Qualitativ (Makround Mikroskopisch) sowie Quantitativ (Histomorphometrie) wurden die Implantate ausgewertet
