In this work, we employ minimization arguments and topological degree theory for mappings of typeS  +${S_{+}}$    to prove the existence of infinite sequences of ordered solutions for a class of nonlinear equations in which the semilinear term vanishes an infinite number of times. Our results extend earlier ones by Hess [ 10 ] and by Loc and Schmitt [ 15 ].
