Objective : To have a cross-sectional epidemiology survey for the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) information of heart failure (HF) and non-heart failure. Methods : Through the use of clinical epidemiology and scale, to collect the TCM information of heart failure and non-heart failure, analyze and explore the characteristics of the TCM information of heart failure and non-heart failure. Results : There are more wheezing, spontaneous sweating, supine difficulties, lower extremity edema, purple lips, listlessness, minimalist looking, dim complexion, fat tongue, petechia tongue, deep pulse, weak pulse in heart failure. Patients of non-heart failure were mostly presented with taut pulse or slippery pulse. Conculsion : The survey shows the distribution characteristics of the TCM information of heart failure and non-heart failure preliminarily, which is benefit to understand the main points for TCM disease and syndrome differentiation of heart failure and non-heart failure, and grasp the variation characteristics and law from non-heart failure to heart failure.
