Clanek prezentuje zkusenosti s implementaci mezinarodniho programu výchovy o Zemi Stražci Země v Ceske republice. V prvni casti hodnoti proces implementace z pohledu zaměstnanců Střediska ekologicke výchovy Ceský raj, ktere připravilo a vedlo ceskou verzi programu. Podle nich byla implementace narocnou, ale obohacujici výzvou. Ve druhe casti clanek analyzuje spokojenost žaků (10-12 let) a ucitelů s programem. Respondenti vyjadřovali vysokou miru spokojenosti s programem, který ovlivnil i navazujici skolni lekce. V posledni casti prezentuje efekt pilotniho programu na ekologicke znalosti a postoje žaků. Výsledky dokladaji pozitivni vliv programu na obě proměnne. V zavěru pak jsou diskutovany možnosti dalsiho siřeni programu v Ceske republice.
