The tale which is a narrative that hasn’t an author appeared as oral custom in the begining has become an important representative as an epic style in the written literature. The cinema which is qualified as the 7th art is a new art in comparison with the tale. And it comes forward as the most efficient and the most effective media of the modern World. Two important art , literature and cinema are linked to each other. The first goal of these arts is to show up mental behaviours of human and the realities of lives and to make it feel to the crowd of people. The Snow White, printed in 1812 by Grimm Brothers is adapted to ‘’the adventures of the snow White’’ and ‘’The snow White and the hunter’’ by Tarsem Singh and Rupert Sanders in 2012. Those versions have the common contents with the tale. The snow White is observed that it has a big change even if the directors hold the content of tale with regard to place and time. The transform of the image of woman will be searched as part of ‘the snow white’’ in those versions from the literature to the cinema. Ozet Baslarda sozlu gelenekte meydana cikip yazani belli olmayan (anonim) bir anlati turunun adi olan masal, daha sonra yazili edebiyat icinde yer edinerek epik turun onemli bir temsilcisi haline gelmistir. Yedinci sanat olarak nitelendirilen sinema ise yaklasik yuzyillik gecmisiyle, arkaik caglardan gunumuze kadar varligini koruyan epik bir edebi tur olan masala gore daha yeni bir sanat dali olup, (post)modern dunyanin en etkin ve etkili medyalarindan biri olarak one cikar. Iki onemli sanat dali olan edebiyat ve sinema birbirlerine kaynaklik eder. Iki sanat dalinin oncelikli amaci; insan hayatinin gerceklerini, kisinin ruhsal hareketlerini gozler onune sermek ve hitap edilen kitleye bunu hissettirmektir. Unlu Alman Grimm Kardesler tarafindan derlenerek 1812’de basilan “Pamuk Prenses” (“Schneewitchen”) masali, 2012 yilinda pes pese Tarsem Singh ve Rupert Sanders adli iki ayri yonetmen tarafindan “Pamuk Prenses’in Maceralari” ve “Pamuk Prenses ve Avci” adlariyla sinemaya uyarlanmistir. Bu uyarlamalar tematik acidan genel hatlariyla masalla ortak icerige sahip sayilir.  Yonetmenler eserin icerigine her ne kadar zaman ve mekan unsurlari bakimindan sadik kalsa da, Pamuk Prenses adli ana kadin figurun 19. yuzyildan gunumuz milenyum dunyasina buyuk bir degisiklige ugradigi gozlenir. Medyalararasi nitelikteki calismada; edebiyattan sinemaya yapilan bu uyarlamalarda Pamuk Prenses ekseninde kadin imajinin donusumu arastirilacaktir.
