Mobile solutions for measuring environmental parameters gain popularity. Resulting datasets tend to be big and heterogeneous, which challenges researchers when investigating them. We state that using star plot maps can be a solution for visualizing multi-variate sensor datasets. In our case study, we generate a dataset on the campus of the University of Augsburg, Germany. After processing the data, we create a star plot map of the study area showing multiple parameters. Findings indicate a good suitability of star plot maps for visualizing multi-variate sensor datasets.
