We give a necessary and sufficient condition for a statistical manifold to be realized by a nondegenerate centroaffine immersion of codimension two. We also show that if a statistical manifold is realized as above, then so is the dual statistical manifold Moreover, we construct a canonical contrast function on a simply connected conformallyprojectively flat statistical manifold, using a geometric method.
