Starting from the analysis of the film Parahyba Mulher Macho (1983), this article intends to identify the idealized construction of the character Anayde Beiriz, a teacher and poet from Paraíba, and her participation in the events that led to the Revolution of 1930. We want to identify who was this woman and it seeks to highlight the similarities and differences between what it was to be a woman in the 1920s and 1930s and in the 1980s in order to be able to differentiate the feminisms exposed in the cinematographic production. .
