Article is devoted to presenting innovative solution, which is a mobile robot capable of navigating the overhead lines of medium and high voltage. Design and construction of said device is a result of engineering Eng. Krzysztof Giełdziński and Eng. Robert Przystalski. The paper presents selected aspects of the environment in which ultimately would have found the use of the robot, the mechanical, structure, electric-electronic part and the part related to the software. Describes also the verification tests on high-voltage lines.
