The introduction of everbearing strawberry varieties or cultivation technology under a roof are a modern challenge for science and practice. In addition to nutrients, biostimulants that influence the yield and quality of strawberry fruit need a special attention. The study analysed the additional application of zinc in the form of ammonium acetate in the cultivation of San Andreas® strawberries. In the cultivation of everbearing strawberries an increase of root mass was recorded at the end of growing season. The foliage application of product containing zinc increased the content of elements in leaves by fruiting. Due to foliage treatment, the yields obtained at the initial fruiting period were higher however, the total yield indicated that in strawberry fertigation systems, it is more important to balance the zinc in the fertilization than to use biostimulants as foliage application.
