Starting from a report sent during the summer of 1765 to the Spanish Ministry of Justice about the Thomist or pro-jesuistic magistrates' inclinations of the main Spanish Courts, the present article analyses the study of his later professional career in order to check, in this way, if the information supplied in the document influenced his respective "cursus honorum".
