This analysis focuses on the pedagogical project, Circuit. Developed by the London museum Tate and addressed to the youth, it subscribes to the critical pedagogical method in favour to subvert the classical referential framework master-student. In doing so, it opens up from the canon maintained by the museum. This aperture of structures and pedagogical methods is symptomatic of a larger contextual shift present in other areas of the museum of art, such as the curatorial department where this inclusion is known as the educational turn. These new dynamics —visible also in the national examples of Equipo Sub21 at CA2M and Departamento Exoterico at MACBA—show the parallel economic motivations by the institutions in their aim to reach a larger audience.
