The quantum interference assisted enhanced optical activity due to theemergence of a steady-state atomic polarization is investigated. The Rubidiumatoms in an antirelaxation coated cell provide a suitable platform to addressthe phenomena at multiple Larmors frequencies. It interacts with a narrowbandwidth frequency comb generated by the frequency modulation of the lightfield. The Lindblad master equation with a trichromatic field provides amicroscopic picture of the atomic response to the narrow bandwidth frequencycomb. The directive of the relative phase between the light fields, in thedetuning dependence of the magnetic resonances, is conclusively captured withthe trichromatic field model. The measured absorption, nonlinear magneto-opticrotation, and their dependencies on various experimental parameters areanalysed. The ellipticity of the light field controls the extent of severalphysical processes at multiple Larmors frequencies. The investigation providesan approach to address the Zeeman coherence in the interaction of a narrowbandwidth frequency comb with an atomic ensemble and will have applications invarious quantum devices.
