Si bien en los momentos de contacto entre sociedades cazadoras recolectoras y agropecuarias se pudieron dar situaciones muy diversas, la neolitización por procesos de aculturación directa e indirecta, desde una perspectiva integradora y regida por el progreso, ha dominado el espectro investigador. La detección de problemas en diversos contextos arqueológicos, junto a nuevas bases empíricas, son los argumentos utilizados en el presente artículo para presentar una nueva hipótesis, desde la perspectiva del conflicto, sobre la posible exclusión y autoexclusión de los grupos mesolíticos en el proceso de expansión territorial de los primeros neolíticos por las tierras peninsulares. Sin refutar ni rechazar otros posibles escenarios expuestos en la investigación, se toma en consideración una posibilidad no desarrollada abiertamente en la investigación arqueológica que permitiría explicar con mayor contenido el registro arqueológico.Although in moments of contact between hunter-gatherer and farming societies different situations may have existed, the neolithisation by direct or indirect acculturation, always from a perspective of integration and governed by progress, has dominated the research spectrum. Detection of problems in various archaeological contexts, together with new evidences, are the arguments used in this paper to present a new hypothesis that, from the conflict theory, analyzes the possible exclusion and self-exclusion of the Mesolithic groups in the process of early Neolithic territorial expansion in the Iberian Peninsula. Without refuting or rejecting other possible scenarios discussed in the research, it is considered that this is a possibility openly undeveloped within the archaeological research that would explain further the archaeological record
