1. 緒言 近年,ロボット技術の進歩により装着者の力を補助するパ ワーアシストスーツの開発が行われ,リハビリテーション医 療の分野でも利用が期待されている.これは,正しい動作を 被動的に繰り返して麻痺肢の運動機能の改善を行うもので ある.一方,外部からの電気刺激によって麻痺筋を収縮させ て運動再建を行う機能的電気刺激 (Functional Electrical Stimulation:FES)が研究されており,FES と歩行器を用いて 歩行を再建するなどの成果を上げている.また,FESを用い た運動療法により,筋力増強,関節可動域拡大など廃用症候 群予防の効果も確認されている. 本研究では,ロボット技術を用いたパワーアシスト装具に 医療技術である FESを併用して,下肢の筋活動を伴いながら 歩行機能の再建・補助を行う Hybrid FES(HFES)を用いた 下肢用パワーアシスト装具の開発を行った.そして,基礎実 験として本アシスト装具を用いた起立実験を行ったので報 告する.
