espanolA traves del presente articulo, se exponen los resultados y conclusiones de una investigacion llevada a cabo en la provincia de Pontevedra en el contexto de cuidados en hospitalizacion. Tratamos de conocer la incidencia existente entre la poblacion atendida en el servicio de trabajo social, de situaciones relacionadas con la pobreza o la exclusion social. Nos parece relevante establecer como este tipo de problematicas, de caracter mas social, influyen en el pronostico de intervenciones realizadas por el equipo de salud. Todo ello dentro del paradigma de salud actual que considera la esfera social de forma relevante. La investigacion se ha llevado a cabo entre enero y junio de 2016 y ha sido actualizada en el 2017, utilizando un metodo de investigacion cuantitativo y descriptivo. Los resultados nos muestran perfiles y la retroalimentacion existente entre la situacion de exclusion social y desventajas en la situacion sanitaria. EnglishIn this paper, we present the results and conclusions of our research, conducted in the province of Pontevedra, regarding hospital care. We intend to learn the incidence of poverty and social exclusion among the population receiving care in social work services. We think it is relevant to establish how this kind of social disadvantages influence the medical prognosis. All of this within the current health framework that considers social factors as a relevant cause. This research was made between the months of January to June 2016 and was updated in 2017, using both a quantitative and descriptive research methodology. Our results show the socio-demographic profiles and the existing feedback between a situation of social exclusion and disadvantages in the sanitary situation.
